apibrėžtis ↑Liudijimų įstaiga, kurios išduodamais ↑liudijimais leidžiama patvirtinti tapatumą. Pašto programoje, naršyklėje arba kitoje programoje, kurioje tapatumui patvirtinti naudojami liudijimai, patikima liudijimų įstaiga nurodoma atitinkama programos nuostata. Tam dažnai naudojama ↑liudijimų tvarkytuvė. Ši nuostata leidžia svetainėms, asmenims ir kt. subjektams, kurių galiojančius liudijimus išdavė patikima liudijimų įstaiga, patvirtinti jais savo tapatumą.
